I’ve been seeing something lately that honestly breaks my heart.
Creators I’ve followed for years...
Who have brilliant ideas, unique content, unbeatable thought leadership...
Are starting to sound… the same.
Like they all went to the same writing school.
Or hired the same ghostwriter.
Or like they all… used ChatGPT 😬
And look, I’m not against AI. I use it every day.
But here’s the problem.
Most people are using AI to replace their creativity, not enhance it.
And when you do that, your content becomes generic.
It sounds just like everybody else.
And you completely lose your greatest advantage.
What makes you you.
So in this letter, I want to show you how to use AI the right way.
Because when done right, you can 10x your productivity.
You can create faster, create more, and create higher quality content
Without losing your voice.
Here's how.
1. "Clone" yourself with the AI
Most people open up ChatGPT and say, “Write me a post about [topic].”
And sure, it’ll write something.
But the problem is it’s not coming from your perspective.
Even if it knows about the topic, it doesn't know how to teach it your way.
And so you end up creating content that's written by the AI.
(which, btw, is how it's writing content for everybody else)
So if you want AI to sound like you, it needs to understand:
- Who you are
- What you do
- Who you serve
- Your unique frameworks and philosophies
You do this by uploading things like:
→ Your past content→ Your courses or products→ Your books→ Recordings of calls
This way you "clone" the AI to write from your perspective.
Otherwise, it’s just regurgitating the same surface-level ideas it gives everyone else.
Not to mention, the "knowledge cutoff" for ChatGPT and most AI models is almost 2 years ago.
Meaning the content it writes isn't just generic, it's also outdated.
That’s why in Whisper, we built a Creator Profile that lets you upload everything about your brand.
Your audience, your offers, your voice, your past content.
So the AI actually knows you and writes like you.
2. Don't lose your "style"
Even if you give AI the right info, it still won’t sound like you unless you train it on your style.
Your voice, the way you write, the way you speak.
Most people don't even realize this.
You ask ChatGPT to write something.
It gives you a polished, well-written response.
You think "hey this sounds good.”
But what you don’t realize is… it sounds good because it sounds like ChatGPT.
And ChatGPT is a good writer.
But it's not you.
And if everyone’s using the same tool, and everyone’s content starts to sound the same… well, you know where that leads.
So you have to teach the AI how you write.
Your tone.
Your sentence structure.
Your punctuation.
Your rhythm.
Your quirks.
In Whisper it's easy.
You just upload examples of content you wrote and it automatically learns your style.
So it doesn’t just write about your topic, it writes it your way.
3. Be the creator
If you do the 2 things above, the AI will get your content 80%–90% right on the first try.
And that's where you're gonna see 10x productivity.
But even if the AI does a really good first draft, you still have to be the one who finishes it.
You are the creator.
The director.
The owner.
Don't fall into the trap of letting the AI replace you.
It's your job to think. To edit. To refine the text. To tweak it.
To make sure it’s you.
With Whisper, once you’ve given it your information and examples, it can get your content 80–90% of the way there.
That’s a huge time-saver.
But the final 10% is where your magic lives.
As they say the devil is in the details.
That’s where your voice, your perspective, your originality comes through.
And that’s what makes your content yours.
It feels subtle, but I promise you people can feel it.
How I wrote this newsletter
This newsletter was written with AI.
But you might notice it doesn't sound like generic ChatGPT-written content.
Because I didn't just say "hey, write me a newsletter."
Here's the real process:
- I ask Whisper to help me come up with content ideas. It knows my past content and audience so it comes up with good ideas.
- I choose an idea and brain dump all my thoughts. This way the content is mine.
- Whisper writes a first draft. It's about 90% good.
- I go through and edit and rewrite anything that feels out of place.
- Lastly, I use Whisper to repurpose the content. Now this idea will get turned into carousels, X posts, LinkedIn posts, short form videos, and more.
If you want to build a brand that stands out, you can’t make AI do all the work for you.
You have to use it to help you do the work, but faster and better.
That’s how you 10x your content without getting lost in the noise.
And if you want help doing this, Whisper was built for exactly that.
It’s not available to the public yet, but if you want to be the first to know when it is, join the waitlist here.
Let's go.
